First ever hemp tiny house trailer was showcased at the Canna Village at Earth Day!

Another fabulous news coming from California: First ever hemp tiny house trailer was showcased at the Canna Village at Earth Day on April 23rd, 2017 in San Diego, California.  Hempire was one of the companies including HeavenGrown and Hemp Technologies participating in construction of hemp house on wheels.
Three days prior to the eventParticipants had only a pile of timber, hemp and a flatbed trailer  in front of them. The crew was working non-stop, while a lot of local volunteers showed up to help in hot weather conditions.
These people are amazing – some of them coming by construction site to assist as late as 9:30 pm. The mastermind behind the whole idea, Dion Markgraaff, was dominating the mixer for three days and was big part of the success.
Last bitsof hempcrete were installed at 1:00  a.m. of the day of the event. The truck came to pick up the first ever hemp house on wheels four hours later, bringing it across San Diego downtown area with fresh hempcrete still trying to dry out.
Balboa Park was humming, as over 50 000 people have attended the event in Balboa Park and showed incredible amount of interest in this carbon-negative construction technology. The event has gathered top hemp companies, leaders and educators from all over the world.  And Hempire is extremely proud to be a part of it.
